Auxiliary tools for tiling

There are several types of tile levelers:

Wedge style: It consists of push pliers, wedges, and a base. The push pliers and wedges can be reused, but the base cannot. The common sizes of bases on the market are 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, and 3mm. The difference in bases is mainly based on the width of the gap left by the customer's ceramic tiles. ‌

T-shaped steel needle models: divided into non replaceable steel needles, replaceable steel needles without level gauges, and replaceable steel needles with level gauges, all of which can be reused. ‌

Cross stitch (tile locator): Conventional sizes include 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 7.0mm, 8.0mm, 9.0mm, 10.0mm. The main purpose is to adjust the size of the gaps in the middle of the tiles, making them neat and beautiful, while reserving space for thermal expansion and contraction to avoid tile hollowing due to compression caused by thermal expansion and contraction. ‌

Buckle type: composed of push pliers, inserts, and a base. The push pliers and wedges can be reused, while the base cannot. The base of the buckle type leveling device is disposable and needs to be purchased according to one's actual needs. Calculate the appropriate amount based on usage and suggest buying more bases. The plug is reusable, remember to keep it after use. ‌

Screw on type: generally divided into two types with and without a level, both of which can be reused. The type with a level has a relatively high requirement for accuracy. If there is a high requirement for the inclination angle of the horizontal plane, this type should be chosen. If there is no requirement, the type without a level can be chosen. The non replaceable needle leveler steel needle is integrated with the screw cap, while the replaceable needle is to separate the steel needle into a single component, so that the parts other than the steel needle can be removed without damaging other components. As long as the steel needle is replaced, it can continue to be used. ‌

Nut type: The components of the nut type leveler are similar to those of the insert type, but due to the nut type head, it is also included in the screw cap type leveler. The operation is basically similar to that of the insert type. After installing and placing the base, tighten the nut cap. When removing, unscrew the nut cap and gently tap off the base. ‌

These different types of leveling devices have their own characteristics and applicable scenarios, and the selection needs to be determined based on specific brick laying requirements and conditions
