How to remove the Tile Leveler

The method of removing the tile leveler mainly depends on its design structure. For a buckle type leveler, it usually includes three parts: base, insert, and push pliers. When disassembling, the first step is to remove the base, which is usually disposable and located in the middle of the tiles, and can be directly removed. Next, use a rubber hammer to strike the upper part of the base and rotate the screw counterclockwise to loosen the buckle, which will remove the entire leveler.

During the demolition process, it is advisable to avoid using hammers or sticks to forcefully pry open the tiles to prevent damage. Suggest disassembling from top to bottom in a certain order, starting with the side and back templates, followed by the combined large template, and finally the supporting and connecting components.

If difficulties are encountered during the demolition process, such as the breakage of the leveling device, more meticulous operation or the use of professional tools may be required. Ensure that after dismantling, the templates and accessories are sorted and stored properly, with attachments in the toolbox for future use.

In addition, the best time to disassemble the tile leveler is within approximately five to twenty-four hours after laying, depending on the temperature and humidity conditions of the environment. In a warm and dry environment, the curing speed of the adhesive is fast, and it may only take about five hours to disassemble; In environments with lower temperatures and humidity, it may be necessary to wait until the next day to remove the leveling device.
