The usage method of
Tile Leveler mainly includes the following steps:
1. Lay tiles and leave a gap of approximately 2mm between the tiles.
2. Insert the tile leveler into the gap and compact it with the tile.
3. Rotate the leveler 90 degrees to secure it at the bottom.
4. Use a wrench to adjust the leveling cover and ensure that adjacent tiles remain level.
After waiting for five hours, remove the leveling device.
When using a tile leveler, the following points should be noted:
Ensure that the surface of the tiles is clean and free from excessive dust, scratches, and color differences, as this may affect the leveling effect.
At the junction of floor tiles and walls, it is necessary to control the width of the gap, usually within the width range of the skirting board, to cover the gap.
After laying the floor tiles, a level measuring ruler should be used to check whether the tiles are neat. The flatness error of floor tiles should be controlled within 3mm, the height difference between adjacent tiles should be kept within 2mm, and the horizontal error of tiles should be controlled within 4mm.
During the process of sticking tiles, it is necessary to firmly fix them and control the presence of hollows within 5% of the overall tile. Within a tile, the area with hollows should not exceed 10%. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the gap width of the floor tiles is within 2mm, and to ensure that the jointing is straight and uniform.
The types of tile levelers include wedge type, T-shaped steel needle type, and cross stitch (tile locator), each with its specific usage method and applicable scenarios. For example, the wedge model consists of push pliers, wedges, and a base, while the T-shaped steel needle model is divided into non replaceable steel needles, replaceable steel needles without a level, and replaceable steel needles with a level, all of which can be reused. Cross stitch (tile locator) is mainly used to adjust the size of the gap in the middle of the tiles, making the tiles neat and beautiful. At the same time, it reserves space for thermal expansion and contraction to avoid tile hollowing caused by thermal expansion and contraction compression.
